Don’t waste any precious time looking for an expensive parking spot, just use the public transport available at our doorstep. Since March 2020 the entire public transport in Luxembourg is for free – trains, buses and trams! From our campsite there are regular bus connections to Ettelbruck, Esch sur Sure, the Upper Sauer Barrier Lake (Insenborn and Lultzhausen) and Bastogne/Belgium. From Ettelbruck you can find good train connections to Luxembourg City.

 Luxembourg City is a melting pot of new and modern buildings and historical fortresses and castles. The city boasts a gorgeous historical centre, old battlements and bunkers, and is listed as one of UNESCO’s world heritage sites.

Be sure to visit the Grand Ducal Palace, to stop by at the numerous museums or to trail down the shores of the Alzette into the downtown of the city.
