Land of the Red Earth
In the south of Luxembourg lies the Land of the Red Earth, "Les Terres Rouge".
The name refers to the red colour of the mineral and therefore also to the colour of the soil!
Here you can find beautiful hiking and cycling trails. Several mines can be visited in the area.
A tourist train takes you through the mines of "Rumelange", where you can make a journey back in time.
The Moselle area "Haff-Reimech”
The "Haff-Reimech" nature reserve is located in Luxembourg's Moselle region, just south of the town of Remich.
In this nature reserve, you can enjoy beautiful hiking trails and delicious wines!
The nature reserve is also characterised by picturesque villages and cultural sites, surrounded by endless vineyards.
