The north of Luxembourg - "Éislek"

The "Éislek" region in northern Luxembourg, is part of the Ardennes and is one of Luxembourg's least populated regions. 
Idyllic valleys, panoramic views and forested hills characterise this natural area. 
The untouched nature goes hand in hand with cultural and historical sights. 
In this area you will find great hiking trails and picturesque villages. 

Upper Sauer Lake 

The Upper Sauer Lake is the perfect place for swimming, canoeing or fishing. 
The 380-hectare lake, on the other hand, also serves as a drinking water reservoir
Enjoy a tour with the solar boat and experience the beautiful flora and fauna of the Upper Sauer Lake. 
The lake is a popular recreational area for both tourists and locals.

Luxembourg's Little Switzerland

The "Mullerthal" region, also often called Luxembourg's Little Switzerland, offers numerous hiking possibilities and beautiful sights. 
Discover extraordinary rock formations, little streams, beautiful views, dark caves and wonderful valleys. 
Make sure to visit the waterfall "Schiessentümpel", where you can enjoy a refreshing jump into the water. 
The nature and geopark became part of the UNESCO Global Geoparks in 2016. 

Land of the Red Earth

In the south of Luxembourg lies the Land of the Red Earth, "Les Terres Rouge". 
The name refers to the red colour of the mineral and therefore also to the colour of the soil! 
Here you can find beautiful hiking and cycling trails. Several mines can be visited in the area. 
A tourist train takes you through the mines of "Rumelange", where you can make a journey back in time.

The Moselle area "Haff-Reimech”

The "Haff-Reimech" nature reserve is located in Luxembourg's Moselle region, just south of the town of Remich. 
In this nature reserve, you can enjoy beautiful hiking trails and delicious wines
The nature reserve is also characterised by picturesque villages and cultural sites, surrounded by endless vineyards.
